Lesson 2 of 5 · Macros · 3 min
Macros Without the Obsession
Your macro targets in the app are a floor, not a scoreboard. They exist to make sure protein, carbs, and fat actually show up in your day — not to become one more number you have to hit perfectly or feel like you failed.
Enough protein for muscle and satiety, enough carbs to fuel your brain and your workouts, enough fat for hormones that regulate everything from mood to metabolism. Hit the floor and you've done the job.
Going over some days, under on others, close-but-not-exact — none of that is failure, it's a body responding to a real life. If you catch yourself refreshing the macro screen the way you used to refresh a scale, that's worth noticing.
Action step
Log today's meals normally, then close the app without checking the percentage. Notice how the day felt instead.
